With 200+ participants in attendance, the session on Intellectual Property Considerations for Research Collaborations was a resounding success and a fitting contribution to the World IP Day 2023 celebrations. The speaker of the session Bhawna Sharma, IP Advocate, provided valuable insights on the roles and responsibilities of each party in the collaboration process, along with discussing the potential impact of existing IP agreements and licenses. Participants also received guidance on developing a process for identifying and disclosing potentially patentable inventions generated during the collaboration.
