IP Literacy by LEXRADAR was proud to contribute to the World IP Day 2023 celebrations at Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies (HIMCS), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), a Ministry of HRD Initiative, and Sharda Group.
Bhawna Sharma, Founder & IP Advocate, LEXRADAR, delivered a focused session on intellectual property considerations for research collaborations:
- Roles and responsibilities of each party in a research collaboration
- Navigating existing IP agreements and licenses and their impact on collaborative work
- Sharing and licensing agreements, structuring them to protect all stakeholders
- Developing a process for identifying and disclosing potentially patentable inventions generated during collaboration
- Safeguarding institutional and individual IP in joint research environments
The depth of engagement from 200+ participants including students, researchers, and faculty reflected a genuine appetite for practical IP knowledge in academic and research settings.
