LEXRADAR participated as Mentor for Module 4: Patent Law and Drafting Techniques in the 3rd Edition of the Advanced Certificate Course on IPR Law, a practical, skill-based programme designed to equip law students and young professionals with real-world IP competence.
Bhawna Sharma, Founder & IP Advocate, LEXRADAR, led the module across a focused two-day session covering:
- Foundations to practice: from patent law fundamentals to advanced, practice-oriented issues
- Hands-on drafting workshop: participants worked through problem statements, identified inventive concepts, and translated them into claims, specifications, drawings, and embodiments
- Feedback & iteration: live review on claim scope, enablement, clarity, and support; with common drafting pitfalls and how to avoid them
- Career lens: how drafting integrates with search, prosecution strategy, client briefing, and litigation readiness
