USPTO is set to launch Electronic Patent Grants on April 18, 2023, replacing the traditional paper-based system. This move aims to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of the Patent Grant Process, while reducing costs and environmental impact. All patent types, including  Utility, Design, Plant, and Reissue, will be issued as eGrants, providing a more secure and faster delivery method. The shift to electronic patent grants is a significant step toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced Patent System.
